New episode in our TRUSTECH Podcast: « In Tech We Trust » featuring Anne-Zoé KASSIDONIS, Engineer and Data Scientist at Thales.

« Among individuals with a recognised identity, it is possible to determine how many have access to a bank account or a mobile account. »

We are pleased to welcome Anne-Zoé KASSIDONIS, Data Scientist and Data Analytics Specialist at Thales Cybersecurity and Digital Identity. Sheworks in the fields of digital technologies and cybersecurity at Thales Digital Identity and Security, both in France and internationally. Throughout her career, she has contributed to projects involving advanced digital systems and technology infrastructures. Actively engaged in the technology ecosystem, she has a particular interest in data-driven technologies, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing. She also holds the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification, demonstrating advanced expertise in designing and implementing cloud architectures.

During this episode, we will discuss topics such as critical infrastructure, IA, data visualisation, correlation and causation:

  • Role and main areas of expertise at Thales?
  • Identity has evolved from a technical security layer to a fundamental pillar of the digital economy. From your perspective at Thales, why has identity become such a critical strategic asset in today’s landscape?
  • As a Data Scientist, how do you bridge the gap between cybersecurity metrics and tangible economic impact? Why is it now vital to measure this "ROI of identity"?
  • During TRUSTECH, you presented a specialized data visualization tool. What was the specific challenge or the key moment that triggered the development of this project?
  • Data visualization is about making the complex accessible. What specific patterns or insights does your tool reveal that remain hidden in traditional raw data reports?
  • Your tool sits at the intersection of policy and technology. Which sector, government, private enterprise, or academia do you believe can derive the most transformative value from these visualizations?
  • In the process of analyzing and modeling these identity datasets, was there a specific finding that completely challenged your initial assumptions?
  • If you had to summarize why identity is the ultimate economic driver in just one sentence, what would it be?
  • Beyond current trends, what do you see as the next major challenge at the intersection of identity, AI, and cybersecurity in the coming years?
  • If industry professionals should remember just one key principle about driving innovation in the payment and identity space, what should it be?
