The Conferences: a Comprehensive Overview of Current Challenges

Back for 2025, the TRUSTECH conferences are designed as a true compass to decipher the major evolutions in the sector. Organised around two main pillars: ID and PAY, they give the floor to international experts who will share their visions, experiences and key issues.

Among the highlights not to be missed, the session led by Stéphanie DE LABRIOLLE, “Rethinking digital governance: reconciling sovereignty and global collaboration”, will explore in depth the new models of digital governance, and how to reconcile sovereignty and global collaboration in a context of increasing interdependence.

Another major intervention, that of Jean-Noël GEORGES, “New payment methods: When cryptocurrencies, Web3 and biometrics reinvent transaction security”, will analyse how new payment methods, from cryptocurrencies to Web3, including biometrics, are reinventing the security of transactions.

Finally, Andrea TOUCINHO will chair a session dedicated to instant payments, “Instant payment: what new deal for Europe’s payments?”, a strategic lever for Europe’s payments. Through a decryption of the latest regulatory developments and the impacts on stakeholders in the sector, this conference will provide concrete insights into the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly transforming market.

Among these contributions, a particular focus on the round table organised by WiseMedia, TRUSTECH’s partner. Entitled “Nuecir: ‘Will the digital society achieve its circular economy objectives?”, this session will analyse the renewed role of nuclear energy in building a sustainable digital society. Sophie BOYER DE LA GIRODAY will bring together experts to discuss the growing energy needs generated by artificial intelligence, 5G, IoT and blockchain, and to explore how a circular approach integrating waste management and recycling can pave the way to a low-carbon future. The arrival of WiseMedia at TRUSTECH illustrates the show’s openness to cross-cutting reflections, at the crossroads of technology, sustainability and energy sovereignty.

 

Spotlight on Innovation: a Springboard for Tomorrow’s Solutions

The SIDI Hub Summit: an Exclusive Space for Decision-makers

Another highlight of the programme, the SIDI Hub Summit will be held on 2 December 2025, in partnership with the Secure Identity Alliance. Reserved for a select group of decision-makers and accessible by invitation only. Since its launch at TRUSTECH in 2023, SIDI is delighted to organise this workshop bringing together governments and key partners to review two years of progress and explore the next steps.

The mission is clear: SIDI’s mission is to build a “digital common good” made up of open and shared tools, ranging from policies to technologies, to help countries implement a secure and interoperable digital identity. In addition, all TRUSTECH participants are invited to attend the global closing session of the ID for Governments conference, which will take place on Wednesday 3 December at 16:00.
