Detailed description

The Iris & Face at a Distance Camera (IFD) provides numerous advantages compared to solutions currently on the market. Common systems capture and recognize irides starting at a distance of fewer than 0.5 meters. Inflexible handling is another problem for current solutions as, for detection, subjects have to take a fixed position and remain there for several seconds. Iris & Face at a Distance, by contrast, enables iris capture and recognition within a vertical and horizontal radius of 45° each and a distance between 0.5 and 1.8 meters in just one second. Iris & Face at a Distance is a multi-biometric system that captures and recognizes several biometric features including face and dual iris. This makes IFD much more accurate than single-feature solutions and more effective in protecting against attempted fraud.
